  • Let’s Get Cookin’ (grade 5 and up)
    A program that trains volunteers from the school community to teach children and youth basic cooking skills.
  • Murray & Bird Children Storybook: Water Works!
    Murray learns how to take care of his bean plant. In the process he discovers how important it is to drink water and eat vegetables and fruit to help him grow like the bean plant.
  • School Tool Kits  Promoting Vegetables, Fruit and Water. Includes strategies and curriculum activities to increase water, vegetable and fruit consumption among students. Strategies target multiple levels of influence including students’ and parents’ attitudes and knowledge, classroom and school level social and physical environments as well as school policies.  Elementary and Secondary

    The site features content written by Registered Dietitians, on a variety of topics such as: food and healthy eating, recipes, menu plans, videos, and interactive healthy eating tools. It also has information about the School Food and Beverage Policy and links to Bake it Up!   (French) a guide to healthier school bake sales.
  • Freggie Tales (Elementary) (French)
    The Canadian Produce Marketing Association (CPMA) developed the Freggie™ Children’s Program, to encourage consumption of fresh fruits and vegetables for overall better health in fun and interactive ways.
