Status of confirmed COVID-19 cases in London and Middlesex County

*The Health Unit will no longer be issuing media releases to announce each new case. Instead the Health Unit will update the local case count daily at 12 noon based upon the Ontario Government’s 10:30 a.m. update of new confirmed positive cases.

*This table indicates the demographic information for local deaths reported by the Health Unit daily at 12 noon.

Cases by reported date

The “reported date” refers to the date in which the Middlesex-London Health Unit was first notified of the case. In the figures below, cases are shown based on the date in which they were reported to public health (regardless of when cases became ill).

Cases by onset date

The “onset date” refers to the date when symptoms first appeared. In the figures below, cases are shown based on when the person’s symptoms first started, or if that is not known, the earliest date in which the person was tested, specimen processed in the laboratory, or the date the case was reported to public health. Illnesses that began after April 10 may not yet be reported (denoted by grey bars). As the case is investigated and new information on these dates is determined, the dates in the graph will be updated.
