Immunization Clinic

The Middlesex-London Health Unit's Immunization Clinic provides immunizations to residents of London and Middlesex County, according to the Ontario Immunization Schedule. The clinic focuses on individuals up to age 18 to coincide with Ontario's legislation of publicly funded vaccines for those attending licensed child care or schools. Immunizations for adults and paid vaccines (PDF) may be possible, subject to eligibility and appointment availability. This Immunization Clinic does not provide vaccines or advice for travel.

Important Notice
Upgrades to provincial immunization database
June 28 to July 3

The provincial immunization database is being upgraded between Thursday, June 28 at 5:00 p.m. and Tuesday, July 3 at 8:00 a.m. During this timeframe, immunization records and information will not be accessible from the Immunization Connect Ontario (ICON) Online System or by calling the Middlesex-London Health Unit. The Health Unit’s Immunization Clinic in London will also close early at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 28.

Children (0-18 years) who live or attend school in London or Middlesex County can “walk-in” or schedule an appointment for immunization services during clinic hours.

No health card is required.

An appointment is required for anyone over the age of 18 who lives in London or Middlesex County. To book an appointment, please call 519-663-5317 extension 2330 (option 4).

TB skin testing is by appointment on Tuesdays for medical reasons (bring paperwork) or case contacts only. TB skin tests for educational or employment purposes will not be done at MLHU.

Clinic Information

To book an appointment at the Health Unit’s Immunization Clinic (London or Strathroy), please call 519-663-5317 ext. 2330 (option 4). Please see the above chart for who requires an appointment, and who can access walk-in services at the clinic. Please note that walk-in registration may be stopped prior to the end of the clinic during busy days. Those with appointments will be seen before individuals who walk-in. 

  • No health card is required
  • Closed on weekends and public holidays
  • London clinic payments for cost items: cash, cheque or debit
  • Strathroy clinic payments for cost items: cash or cheque only

What should you bring?

Bring your immunization record, if you have one. It will be used to assess which vaccines you may require, and to record ones given at the clinic.

Prescriptions are not written or required in the Immunization Clinic. Please do not bring vaccines from a pharmacy to the clinic, as there will be an administration charge of $20 if they are able to be given to you.

Travel Vaccines

If you are requesting vaccines for travel purposes, please be advised that the Health Unit Immunization Clinic nurses cannot give you information or advice, or administer vaccines for what you may need for specific travel destinations, and will recommend that you speak to a travel physician or clinic instead.
