Beauty and Body Art Safety - Information for Operators
As an operator of a personal services setting, you have a responsibility to protect your clients and yourself from the risk of infections. Public Health Inspectors from the Middlesex-London Health Unit will inspect your business as least once a year to make sure best practices for infection control are being followed.

Please download and complete the Notice of Intent to Operate or Alter Personal Services Settings Form (PDF) 14 days prior to the planned opening date or start of renovation. Return this form to the Middlesex-London Health Unit at 50 King Street, London, ON N6A 5L7 or by fax (519) 663-8241 or by email health@mlhu.on.ca.

Opening or relocating a business
Owners/operators are required to contact the Middlesex-London Health Unit to review business requirements and to arrange for an inspection.
Serving of food and drinks
For operators who want to offer food or drinks to their clients, contact the Middlesex-London Health Unit to review requirements for food service.
