Ontario Public Health Measures

Living with and Managing COVID-19

On Wednesday, March 9, the Ontario Government released its plan called Living with and Managing COVID-19 (PDF), which outlines the timeline for lifting remaining public health and workplace safety measures across Ontario.

Face masks

Starting Saturday, June 11, 2022, masking will no longer be required in most settings across Ontario, including public transit. Masks will still be required in long-term care and retirement homes and are recommended in higher-risk congregate living settings, such as shelters and group homes. NOTE: Organizations may choose to implement their own masking policies. Please continue to wear a mask if you feel it’s right for you and please remain respectful of others, whether or not they choose to wear a mask. Learn more →

Recommendations from the Middlesex-London Health Unit

COVID-19 continues to circulate in London and Middlesex County. Please consider your risk for COVID-19 and to take steps to protect yourself.

  • Wear a mask if you feel it’s right for you
  • Ensure you are up to date for all recommended doses of COVID-19 vaccine, including booster doses
  • Stay at home if you feel unwell or develop any symptoms of COVID-19
