The Middlesex-London Health Unit is set to open its latest mall-based COVID-19 vaccination clinic. After successful clinics at CF Masonville Place and White Oaks Mall, the Health Unit will welcome clients to the new clinic at Westmount Shopping Centre starting on Thursday, July 7th. The opening of this latest COVID-19 vaccination clinic continues the Health Unit’s strategy of creating easy and convenient ways for area residents to have optimal protection against the virus.
“With the arrival of summer and warmer weather, many people are spending more time outdoors and they may not be thinking of COVID-19 right now,” says Dr. Alex Summers, Medical Officer of Health, at the Middlesex-London Health Unit. “Our clinic at Westmount Shopping Centre will allow people who have not received all the doses they are eligible for to get vaccinated. This will provide additional protection against the COVID-19 virus that continues to circulate in our community.”
The Heath Unit’s vaccination clinic will operate out of a space beside the Bulk Barrell located near Westmount Shopping Centre’s Entrance 1, off Viscount Road. The clinic will be open Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, from 11:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. all through the month of July. Clients will be seen on a walk-in basis; individuals can receive any dose that they are currently eligible for.
