New Hours for COVID-19 Vaccine Booking Line Start Next Monday

Posted by on

The Middlesex-London Health Unit (MLHU) will soon shift its COVID-19 vaccine appointment booking line from a seven-day-a-week operation to Monday-to-Friday schedule. Starting on Monday, March 28th, the vaccination appointment booking line will be staffed weekdays from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The final day of live weekend phone line coverage will be Saturday, March 26th; an answering service will be in place for Sunday, March 27th.

The change to the days of operation for the booking line comes as MLHU looks to pivot its COVID-19 response and integrate the COVID-19 vaccination program into the Health Unit’s regular operations and processes.

The Health Unit will continue to offer COVID-19 vaccines on a walk-in basis at all of its mass vaccination, mobile and community hub clinics, as well as offering appointment booking online at www.covidvaccinelm.ca.

After two years of intense work responding to the challenges of the pandemic and its associated vaccination campaign, this change also signals a move toward the Health Unit’s regular public health programs, services and operations.

Reminder: as previously indicated in a media release issued on Thursday, March 10th, the Health Unit’s mass vaccination clinic at the Western Fair District Agriplex will be moving to a Tuesday-to-Saturday schedule as of Tuesday, March 29 and will be closed Sunday, March 27 and Monday, March 28.
