Health Unit Ends Middlesex-London’s First Cold Weather Alert of 2013

London, ON – The Cold Weather Alert issued by the Acting Medical Officer of Health on Tuesday, January 22nd has now been terminated. Current outdoor temperatures and those forecast by Environment Canada for the next few days are above the -15C threshold used by the Health Unit to issue a Cold Weather Alert.

The Middlesex-London Health Unit thanks all members of the Extreme Temperature Network and those agencies and facilities who observed the Cold Weather Alert for their diligence in providing service during this time.
