About Mobilizing Newcomers and Immigrants to Cancer Screening Programs

The Middlesex-London Health Unit is a partner in a 2-year collaborative community project "Mobilizing Newcomers and Immigrants to Cancer Screening Programs" funded by the Public Health Agency of Canada.

Together with the South West Regional Cancer Program, London Intercommunity Health Centre and the Canadian Cancer Society Elgin-Middlesex, we are working to promote:

  • Equitable access to information and education about cancer prevention and screening
  • Participation in provincial cancer screening programs for breast, cervical and colorectal cancers
