Career and Volunteer Opportunities
Our mission is to promote and protect the health of our community.
The Middlesex-London Health Unit is located at the forks of the Thames River in the heart of downtown London, just a short walk from Harris Park, Covent Garden Market and Budweiser Gardens. London is the geographic centre of Southwestern Ontario, strategically located at the junction of Highways 401 and 402, less than a two-hour drive from Windsor, Detroit, Toronto and Buffalo, and less than an hour from the Grand Bend resort area on the shores of Lake Huron. The City of London, also known as the Forest City, is the home of Western University and Fanshawe College.
We employ approximately 300 full-time, part-time and casual staff, as well as temporary contract employees assigned to a wide variety of positions within a multi-disciplined de-centralized environment. The efforts of Health Unit staff help the residents of Middlesex County and the City of London live balanced, healthy lives by providing a variety of programs and services aimed at preventing disease and promoting health. Further information about each service area and the programs they provide can be found at About Us.
To protect the privacy of your personal information our policy is to not accept or retain unsolicited resumes/ applications i.e. general applications for employment in any suitable position.
