As influenza activity is beginning to increase in the community, we have resumed our Influenza Surveillance Reports. Updated reports will be posted approximately weekly. We will send an email update when there has been a major change in the influenza situation.

To-date this influenza season (2012-2013), there have been four laboratory-confirmed case of influenza A reported to the Health Unit. Based on testing of a few strains in Canada, the vaccine and circulating strains are matching very well.
