Additional COVID-19 Preventive Measures for School Settings in London, Middlesex, Oxford, Elgin, and St. Thomas

We all have a role to play in stopping the spread of COVID-19. Let’s all do our part to keep kids in school - it’s essential for student safety and well-being in addition to learning.

The Ontario Government has continued with additional health and safety measures in schools as students and staff return to in-person learning across Ontario, including masking and screening protocols. Learn more by visiting COVID-19: reopening schools. In the Middlesex-London region, we have made recommendations for area schools that are in addition to the provincial recommendations. School and child care screening

Starting Friday, July 16, London and Middlesex County, along with the rest of Ontario, will enter Step Three of Ontario’s Roadmap to Reopen.

COVID-19 Screening

All children, staff, and visitors must screen for COVID-19 every day before going to school, child care, or camps. Check with your school, child care provider, or camp to determine how to verify your completed screen.
