Blind and Curtain Cords
Did you know? Cords from blinds and curtain cords are a danger to young children. Always keep cords high and out of reach of young children.
Safety Tips
- Do not leave cords hanging
- Keep looped or long blind cords high and out of reach of children
- Cut cords short when blinds are fully down or curtains are fully closed
- Make sure that children cannot reach the cord, whether the blind is up or down
- Keep cribs, beds, high chairs or playpens away from windows or doors
- Keep sofas, chairs, tables, shelves, or bookcases away from windows1
