Bath Safety

Did you know? Children can drown in 2.5 cm of water. Drowning is the second leading cause of death for young children and bathtubs are the most common place for babies under one year of age to drown.

 

Safety Tips

  • Always stay within arms sight and reach of children when in or around water
  • Never leave a child alone with an older sibling1
  • Infant seats and bath rings are NOT safe and should not be used.
